Utrecht Summer School

Utrecht Summer School started in 1987, with one course: Dutch Culture and Society. In the last two and a half decades, the summer school developed into a broad selection of over 200 courses in virtually all disciplines offered by Utrecht University, HU University of Applied Sciences and HKU University of the Arts Utrecht. These institutions for higher education offer high quality, fully accredited summer courses on bachelor, master and PhD level. All courses are taught in English by our academic staff. For most of the courses ECTS credits are rewarded. In 2017 Utrecht Summer School attracted more than 4000 students from over 120 different countries, making it the biggest Summer School in Europe.
