Visa

For stays up to 90 days, you may need the Schengen Visa. If you are from the USA, Canada or Japan, the EU or the European Economic Area or have a visa or residence permit issued by a Schengen state you are exempt. If you are planning to stay over 90 days, you may need a German National Visa. EU and EEA (European Economic Area) citizens and Swiss nationals are exempt.
